A Family Story

It was in the 1960s that Antonin Guyon, then aged 55, began acquiring parcels of vines across a range of appellations stretching from Gevrey-Chambertin to Meursault.

In 1970, his son Dominique, after considerable effort, succeeded in bringing together around 350 plots owned by nearly 80 landowners in the village of Meuilley, in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits: 22 hectares of south-facing vines on an excellent terroir, which would come to enrich the family estate.

Today, Dominique Guyon runs this prestigious domaine with passion, guided by a single ambition: to achieve the highest quality and to express the true character of the terroir. He is particularly involved in the winemaking process, working closely with the estate’s cellar master.

The vineyard is cultivated with exceptional care, including full ploughing and carefully measured soil treatments.

The harvest is equally meticulous. Grapes are picked gently into 40 kg crates and brought to the winery within 30 minutes. They are sorted first in the vineyard, then again at the cellar, ensuring that only the finest fruit is used. The harvesting team is made up of loyal workers, many of whom have returned year after year, some for over 25 years.
