LOCATION
The BOURGOGNE HAUTES COTES DE NUITS from Domaine DOMINIQUE GUYON is located in Meuilley, near Nuits-Saint-Georges.

SURFACE
The vineyard covers 20 hectares (49.40acres) on South-facing slopes and is well-known for the quality of its wines.

SOIL AND GRAPE VARIETY
Clay and limestone
100% Pinot Noir

HARVEST AND VINIFICATION
Hand-harvested, the grapes are then carried in small boxes and sorted out upon arrival at the winery.
Fermentation during 10/12 days in wooden open vats, with punching down of the cap and temperature control.

AGEING
Ageing in oak barrels and estate bottling after 12 months.

CHARACTER
Nice ruby/purple robe with aromas of small red fruits.  Elegant, delicious, pleasurable, with soft tannins. This wine is easy to drinking now and can be kept for 5 years.

SERVICE
To be served at around 17°C on red meat, roasted meat and cheeses.
